These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all nominations and participation in the 2025 ABAW Business Excellence Awards ("Awards") hosted by the Asian Business Association of Whitehorse Inc. (ABAW). By submitting a nomination or participating in the Awards process, you agree to be bound by the following:

1.1. The Awards are open to businesses operating in Victoria, Australia, that meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the relevant award category descriptions.
1.2. ABAW reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage and disqualify entries that do not comply with the criteria.

2.1. Nominations must be submitted through the official Awards website by the closing date, 13th July 2025.
2.2. Each nomination must be accurate, complete, and submitted in English. False or misleading information may result in disqualification.

3.1. All eligible nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges appointed by ABAW.
3.2. Finalists will be notified via email prior to the Gala Presentation Night with a formal invitation to attend and must confirm acceptance within 5 business days of notification. 

3.3. Please note that winners will not be disclosed, shortlisted or announced before the Gala Dinner.

3.4. To be shortlisted as a finalist of the awards, attendance of the Gala Dinner is compulsory. 

(Public Voting Categories Excluded)

4.1. Award winners will be officially announced live during the 2025 ABAW Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on 28 August 2025.

5.1. Attendance at the ABAW Business Excellence Awards Gala is ticketed and subject to the following pricing:

• General Admission: $250 per single ticket | $2,200 per table of 10
• ABAW Members: $150 per single ticket | Eligible for 2 single tickets or 1 table at member pricing - $2,000

5.2. Additional tickets purchased by ABAW members beyond their allocation will be charged at the General Admission rate.
 

6.1. By participating, all nominees grant ABAW the right to use their business name, logo, and description for promotional purposes including but not limited to media releases, social media, printed materials, and the Awards Gala presentation.
6.2. Winners and finalists may be invited for media interviews or marketing opportunities post-awards.

7.1. ABAW reserves the right to withdraw any nomination or revoke any award at its discretion if misconduct, ethical concerns, or non-compliance with the Terms is discovered.
7.2. Nominees who withdraw after finalist announcements without valid cause may be restricted from participating in future awards.

8.1. ABAW is not liable for any loss or damage incurred by participants in relation to the Awards.
8.2. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, including force majeure, ABAW reserves the right to cancel or modify the event format, timeline, or awards without prior notice.

9.1. Personal and business information collected through the nomination process will be used solely for the administration of the Awards and will not be shared with third parties outside of the Awards process without consent.
9.2. ABAW complies with all relevant privacy legislation in the handling of submitted information.
